WHY SHOULD WE LOOK FOR SATSANG?
– Guru Amardas ji
Santsang is a gathering of people who are focused on God and come together to discuss Gurbani and lessons from Gurbani.
Satsangis who are in love with God keep meeting other Satsangis and discuss Gurbani, Naam-Simran and stay connected to God, get peace of mind, and they never disconnect from God because they are blessed. Those who are disconnected (separated) from God don’t believe anybody can “see”/feel/experience God because they don’t do Naam-Simran. They keep chasing Maya and
don’t even realize they are disconnected from God. Friendship with such people (who follow their mind and not Gurbani) doesn’t last l ng, and nothing good comes out of it, anyway. Guruji says we shouldn’t makes friends with those people who don’t have God in their heart.
There are some people who stay connected to God at all times and are at peace, I have utmost respect for them and I wish to give everything to them and spend time with them. Company of such people brings us peace, all desires, pain, and hunger, leave us and enjoy the state of pure bliss.
I am so thankful for the blessing of Naam-Simran and my connection with God, and protecting me from 5-evils.
