People who follow their own mind, rather than Guru, have an impure mind and have spiritual problems and they are not able to connect to God. They are always consumed by worries and problems. When God blesses us with Guru we are then able to find peace and able to handle worries and distractions in life.

When we follow our Guru we are able to embed God in our heart and start seeing God in everything, enjoy discussions about God, find eternal peace and gain knowledge of spiritual life. People who don’t listen to Guru experience spiritual death, while Guru’s followers live a pure life with God in it. Guru helps eliminate ego but when we don’t listen to Guru then our life is filled with problems. These people sleep walk in constant chase of Maya and never awaken because it becomes their habit to not do Naam Simran and waste their life.

Meditation of God’s name is a never-ending treasure. We get Naam by God’s blessing and become wealthy. Whole world depends on God, and this blessing is not available anywhere else. We should stay connected to God’s followers (Bhagats) because they have the wealth of God’s name and all evil stays away from them. With blessing of Naam’s wealth, there is no need for any money of materialistic objects.
