THE REAL AWAKENING
– Guru Amardas ji

God is the source and he is everywhere, nothing exists without him. Everything takes place with God’s will. God’s loves enjoy spiritual life with Guru’s blessing and not everybody understands this concept. Simrun (meditation to God) is the way to connect to God. God is out of reach via ego of knowledge. I connect to God by spending time with other God’s lovers who are devoted to God. We can easily reach him via Gurbani (Guru’s word from Guru Granth Sahib ji).

God created Maya (5 forms) and God has ordered Maya to lure us. God himself awakens us so that we can see the reality of Maya and get real knowledge of God and we eliminate ego and attachment. God also blesses us with intelligence, great character, respect, and connection to God himself by connecting us to Guru (Granth Sahib ji). This is how we achieve spiritual life.

We should have God on our mind at all times and discuss and praise God. God has stuck many famous people (from past) and even some spiritual life entities (ghosts, bad spirits etc) in Maya (5 forms). God creates different creatures, gives them different roles and he also protects them all. Only God can really appreciate the whole existence (universe). God’s lovers enjoy the daily routine of Simrun and staying away from Maya. Doing fake show-of-religion does not bring us close to God because when we do we remain stuck in Maya, we remain blind of spiritual life and only experience problems. People who get blessed by God are very lucky. We should only worship God to stay away from ego and experience real awakening. Humans come and go just like days of week, months, seasons, days and nights keep repeating. God created this cycle of life and death and God is the only one who exists forever. Very few people understand this concept who listen to Guru.
