HOW TO “NOT” FIND GOD…
– Guru Nanak Dev Ji

God is amazing because he has the power to create (and destroy) the universe, nobody else has the power to create or destroy it. Everything you can think of, is created by God. God has been the owner, caretaker since the beginning of our existence. God is very kind with a big heart. Those who meditate to God enjoy eternal peace and don’t fear death. Naam (True connection with God) is a priceless diamond that can’t be measured and that doesn’t finish. The tongue that truly talks of God is pure. It’s a fact that God’s true lovers see God everywhere.

Lots of people give up their family and go to the jungle (trying to find God) but they get the ego of denouncing the civilization and their family, and therefore they become distant from God and destroy themselves. Any discussion of Spirituality is useless when you are distant from God. People who go through physically tough things to connect to God, but have ego of it, never find God. Those who do fake religious acts, learn religious books and share the knowledge with others, just to be liked by people never get out of Ego. Nobody can achieve eternal peace without God’s Name. Sacrifice, stubborn-behaviour, ego based things like fasting, visiting religious places don’t stop our lust/greed and ego, instead our faith becomes unstable and we experience hell. Without God’s name we are stuck in Vikaars (things origination from 5 forms of Maya – Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment and Ego). Lots of Hermits go through hard meditation based on ego but never eliminate their inner poison.

Those who listen to and follow the Guru are able to become pure – their senses become pure too and become free of Ego. People who get blessed by God keep this blessing forever. Dear God: please bless me with True love for you, because I need it to be connected to you. Bless me with connection to Guru so that I stay connected to you via Simran (meditation to God). True name of God eliminates ego and fills me with true love (unconditional). Lies and fake activities don’t connect us to God. Guru’s word is the only way to connect to God. Those who follow Guru find the God – the creator of universe, and their attitude changes and they enjoy talking about God.
