According to Gurbani, both men and women are considered as females to God who is husband of our souls. Guruji says if this human-female keeps chasing material objects all life then husband-God doesn’t accept this wife because God doesn’t like what “she” has done with her physical shell (our body, with no Naam-Simran).
Guruji says we should cherish and respect those who do Naam-Simran because after death our body decays into mud/sand. But if we let Naam-Simran sink in our mind and our body, we get a ton of joy and eternal peace (our body emits energy, and appears colorful rather than being dull without Naam-Simran).
Although God is everywhere and within us (both good and bad people), he respects people who do Naam-Simran and provides special care for the ones who love him and have faith in him – he accepts these people. When God accepts and likes someone he blesses them with Naam-Simran and connects with them.
