BEWARE OF THE TRAP OF DESTRUCTIVE MAYA
– Guru Arjun Dev ji

Dear Naiive human: wake up, stop wasting time as your life is passing and time is running out. Don’t let Maya (5 forms) rob you because you are committing sins under the influence of Maya. Your mortal body will finally come to an end. We are not at fault because we are controlled by spiritually death and don’t realize that we will leave our wealth, physical body when we die. Physical body will not need any food or clothes at that point. Only thing we take with us is our good and bad deeds which can’t be erased (attached to our soul).

A hunter traps and kills a night by using a bright light that looks like moonlight to the deer. A bee gets lured by sugary objects but when it gets there, it gets stuck and dies. An elephant gets trapped by falling in a big hole where he sees an image of fake female elephant; elephant is considered most lustful animal. Similarly, we get trapped by Maya (lust, greed, anger, ego and attachment) and commit sins and forget God by seeking temporary joy from destructive things. We forget about spiritual life and we don’t connect to the master – God. Instead, we get stuck in feelings that keep us away from God invite spiritual death.

God’s followers connect to God and achieve spiritual life, they become enlightened. They are blessed with Simrun (meditation to God), Sungut (company of other God’s follower who worship together), and get help with crossing this life that is full of worries and problems. God also saves them from committing sins and trap of Maya and their life becomes pure.
