WHY WE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM PEOPLE DISCONNECTED FROM GOD
– Guru Arjun Dev ji

We should always stay away from people who are always disconnected from God. Godless people’s love/attachment is also fake, it never lasts, it always breaks. One can never get out of Vikaars (Bad habits caused on 5 evils) in a company of Godless people.

Imagine a house with floors and walls covered with black eyeliner, whoever goes in that house will get dirty. Similarly, when we spend time with Godless people our mind gets filled with dirt of Vikaars. When we meet Guru our worries go away and we lose the attachment to vikaars and we learn to keep our distance from Godless people.

Dear God: I pray to you to keep me away from Godless people. Please make me serve your followers so that I am always surrounded by God’s people (saint like).
