Guruji uses Pandit as an example – Pandit is the priest at a Hindu temple (just like we have Gyani ji who do prayers at Gurdwara), but he is referring to ALL preachers of all religions. The preacher reads all religious books and preaches the teachings of religious books, but he doesn’t have God in his mind. He preaches others but he hasn’t applied these teachings to himself and his life.

Hey Preacher: apply these teachings to your life and get go of Anger. Preachers (and other people) who are blind on Spiritual level go through the motions such as putting Tikka on their forehead, wearing religious clothes and other physical things, that indicate a person is religious, on the outside. They read religious Gurbani and do everything that shows others that this man or woman is religious. They even talk about beautiful lessons from religious books and people listen because Gurbani is beautiful.

This is why all of our Gurus did Naam-Simran, Sewa and lived a pure life
free of Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachments and Ego.

The real preacher is that person who lives his life according to teachings and way of life laid out by God (This is what all religious books teach). When we do that, Maya (5 evils) don’t affect us and we get God’s blessing and our life becomes beautiful. This type of preachers are hard to find.
