Very few people in this world know who their real friends are. This skill is God’s blessing, and those who get it, their life becomes pure (clean of Maya).

People like parents, wife, son, relatives are in our lives because of our Karms(deeds)/connections in past life, but when we die, none of them will go with us – we go alone. We waste all of our life chasing shiny and expensive things like gold, pearls, diamonds etc but we are never satisfied and want more. No matter what kind of cars we own (in old times, it used to be Chariots, elephants, horses), how much property or money we own, none will go with us – we go bare naked.

We should seek company of Sant-jans (Saint like people who prioritize God and have escaped the claws of 5 forms of Maya), and discuss and learn about God and Gurbani. This way we get endless happiness in this life, and get respect and joy in afterlife. This blessing happens when we we seek company of Sant-jans because they have a strong connection with God.
