People who chase Maya can’t control it no matter how careful or attached they are. When someone stops chasing it, then Maya comes to their feet. Dear Here’s the thought that makes our life pure – We can’t live spiritual life without God’s name (without God we are spiritually dead), only a Guru can show us the path.
When we give respect to Maya (any of 5 forms) then it becomes arrogant and runs away from us (and makes us chase it). When we give up attachment to Maya then it becomes tamed. Maya lures everybody by being sweet but it betrays in the end, it doesn’t stay at one place. Maya has controlled people in whole universe, only God’s followers are able to destroy it.
When we keep wanting things our desires never end and we don’t get spiritual life. When we give up Maya and seek company of good people (connected to God), only then we are able to escape Maya.
