ANXIOUS WITHOUT GOD
– Guru Arjun Dev ji

When we get excited to meet God, we try to search for him in geographical locations but we give up after trying different ways to “find” God. Once we learn God isn’t waiting for us in a physical space, we pray to God for his blessing.

Our souls are considered feminine and God is our soul’s husband. Our soul always wants to meet God. Our soul is asleep because we chase Maya (lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego), but God is always awake and ready to meet us. Our soul is in drunk-like state completely oblivious to God’s existence. Our soul awakens with God’s blessing.

Our luck shines and God blesses us path to Sutsung (Company of good people who pray and worship together). We are able to disconnect from Maya via Sutsung and when eliminate the seduction of Maya we are able to find God in our heart (mind). This is when we taste the joy of eternal happiness and we see the reality of God and stop unproductive efforts to meet God. We become strong internally and see God everywhere.
