WHY WE NEED A GURU
– Guru Ram Das ji
Dear God my love, please bless me with Guru who can show me how to meet (experience) you, and I always serve him. I have started to really like you because I don’t have any hopes with anybody else but you. You are my mom, dad, and my partner – I can’t live 1 second without you, I will experience spiritual death.
Those people are great who found a Guru and connected to God through him. I enjoy thinking about God via prayers (Naam-simran) and I can’t think of anything else. People who are not blessed with Naam wander this Earth like those people who nobody respects and are never happy.
God: please bless me with your thought (Naam) and give me spiritual life. Only Flawless Guru (God) is capable of blessing us with Naam, and we can only do Naam-Simran when we have a Guru showing us the path.
