If you have solid faith only in God, then lots of our wishes come true because God knows what’s in our mind and any time spent thinking about God is valued and he doesn’t let it go to waste. This is why our hopes should only be with God. Hopes with someone other than God go to waste and always disappoint.

The family we see is Maya (Attachment), we should not have any hopes with family or relatives because they have no say – only thing that matters is Naam-Simran and only God can help us. God even helps our families from problems when we do Naam-Simran. If we leave God for Maya, none of the hopes will come true – it is like second love and it can get destroyed in no time.

My Guru taught me that nobody has any control over anything but God. God knows his followers wishes and he helps from escape attachment to Maya and keeps them content.
