NOBODY KNOWS GOD’S LIMITS?
-Bhagat Kabir ji
Both Hindus and Sikhs believe in Brahma and Vishnu, and Inder are called DEVTAs (Devta is the biggest Ranks one can achieve by doing Naam-Simran and devoting one self to the Almighty. DEVTAs (semi-Gods) have the power to create, and destroy the world, and they are immortal. Although God has given them lots of powers, they are still not one with God). In Sikhi, we are supposed to focus on becoming one with God, and not get stuck at DEVTA level.
Kabir ji says, even the Devta’s or their sons or other great warriors who were devoted to God, have not been able to find The Almighty’s secret (His Limits) – his beginning – his end – it’s a secret that nobody has been able to know since the beginning of time.
Instead of trying to find out about God, we should do Naam-Simran and stop wasting time on things that are not important. Our goal is to become one with God (just like a drop of water loses its identity if dropped in ocean – it becomes part of the ocean).
