HOW DO I MEET GOD?

Dear God: I am anxious to meet you. To achieve this I keep asking my Guru and teach my ignorant mind. The wandering mind learns wisdom from Guru and connects to God by always thinking of him. With God’s blessing we are able to stay connected to him. I tried to look pretty (via religion inspired clothes) so that God likes me but God doesn’t even care about outer appearance. All efforts are useless because God blesses those lucky ones who have him in their heart. When I ask connected souls how they connect to God, they tell me that it happens with God’s blessing. We should give our mind, our body to God and let him guide us. Then we get God’s blessing and our soul becomes one with God.

I am willing to serve and give my love and attention to people who talk about God and praise him. I love hearing God’s praise. Guru is great, he grants us the wish to meet God. God please connect me to Guru so that I can seek advice about you and stay connected to you. With Guru’s help I am always connected to God via Simran (meditation to God). God blesses me with spiritual life, and when I forget God I experience spiritual death. Everybody wants to meet to God but only those meet him who get blessed. Therefore it’s important to connect with Guru who teaches us how to stay connected to God.
