To teach us, Guruji presents Gurbani as self-talk. Here Guru ji says – My dear heart (mind), what kind of lesson have you learnt? You are stuck on women (who is not yours – wife, that is), and putting others down. You don’t spend any time on Naam-Simran.

You are spending day and night chasing money (Remember how we are always “busy” with Work) and material objects, but in the end nothing will go with you. Maya’s got you chained down (attachment to it). Because of this you have stayed away from Guru and Gurbani and you have no knowledge of your spiritual life.

God – who is free of Maya – is within you, but you are looking for him out there in Jungles. We are blessed with Human specials (of 84 million species) and this is the only time we can do Naam-Simran and get out of this cycle of life and death. Please use this life to connect to Waheguru via Naam-Simran.
