If someone’s home is not touched by Maya (decorations etc) then guests leave hungry and the homeowner is unsatisfied. Maya is needed in a family. Maya – human bride – is great, it’s not bad, it’s pure because without it even big time Tapis (people who give up everything and go to jungle to pray) get distracted, and they get scared if they don’t get Maya for body’s last rights.

Maya stays with Cheap people like a daughter because they keep collecting it and don’t spend it much, when they die, Maya goes away too. Maya has everybody under control – only people who are connected to God are free from it. Instead, Maya cries to God’s people for help. Maya has everybody under control from kings, warriors, people who read holy books, go to pilgrimages, even Semi-Gods like Shiv, Brahma, Vishnu etc are also tied to Maya. It also controls us through 5 knowledge Senses (Hearing, Eyesight etc).

Kabir ji says, with God’s blessing, I have escaped from Maya because God has broken 5 knowledge senses free of Maya.
