HOW ORDINARY PEOPLE SPEND LIFE & HOW A SUNT DOES
– Guru Arjun Dev ji

Some people spend their life having fun with partying and enjoying the material objects and pretty things etc, some people spend life in attachment with parents and kids, and some people spend life doing business and collecting more property.

Some people spend their life reading books (education), some people spend their life enjoying variety of foods, some people spend their life chasing women, but only Sants  enjoy God’s name. Some people spend their life gambling, some people spend their life doing drugs and drinking, Some people spend their life stealing from others, some  people spend their life as a yogi (to gain powers), some spend their life in superstition and worshipping Devtas (Super spiritual immortal spirits with some of God’s powers),  some people spend their life full of problems and being sick and wasting time, some people spend their life trying to extend their life doing Pranayam (yoga practice).

Some people spend their life on a constant move, some people want to stay in only one place, some spend it trying to educate their sons, Some spend life watching plays and  TV, some spend robbing others, some spend building an empire (like a king) but still in fear, some people spend their life dealing with problems and waiting for their life to end, some people spend their life discovering and searching.

Only Sunts (Saints and saint-like people) spend their life dedicated to God. God is immortal, he created the universe and everything and everyone belongs to him. Sunts spend their life praising God. People are neither foolish nor intelligent, they live their life doing what God has planned for them. I have respect for people who are blessed by God with Naam-Simrun (worship and meditation to God).
